IPower was founded in 2001.  They currently have three plans available.  The first is there Ready site plan at $4.95 per month.  The second is there Pro Site, which is currently on sale for $3.95 per month and is regularly 7.95 per month. The third is their Site & Store at $14.95 per month.

IPower’s Ready site is limited in comparison to their other plans.  It has 5 GB of data storage and 250 GB of bandwidth. It does come with their standard web site creator however.  You are limited to 1 MySQL database and 1 POP3 email account, and does not have FTP access. All three plans include their Web statistics program as well as access and error logs.   It does come with some tools to help you get your site out including $25 Yahoo ad credits.  This plan is fairly limited for the price especially during the sale for the Pro Site plan.

IPower’s Pro Site plan is significantly imporved over the Ready Site plan.  Disk space and bandwidth have been upgraded to unlimited and you get a free domain name.  Also the number of MySQL data bases that you are allowed has increased to 25.  This version also includes their starter store.  This includes a ShopSite product limit of 15 and a 5 page limit as well.  It does offer three different shopping carts to chose from including OSCommerce, Agora, and Paypal shopping cart.  Also the limit on email accounts has basically been lifted with the limit being set at 2500. You now gain access to Perl and scripts as well.  Aplications have also been added. These include guest book, message forums, blogs, and online chat.  They have also  added some new promotion tools.  These include: $50 Google Adwords credit, RatePoint customer feedback, and SubmitNet.

IPower’s third offering, Site & Store  is their most comprehensive.  One major differences here are that you now have unlimited MySQL databases.  As the name suggests there is a greatly improved store.  The ShopSite product limit is increased to 50 products, and the page limit is increased to 25.  Also now you can customize the store and shopping cart.  You also gain the ability to put products “on sale”, up or cross sell a product, stie search, and shipping capabilities.
